Disney Cruise Line fans have something new to celebrate—the Disney Destiny, the sixth ship in the fleet and sister to the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure. This new vessel is set to carry forward Disney’s signature storytelling while offering unique experiences tied together by a powerful theme: the battle between heroes and villains.

With its heroic design, innovative dining, Broadway-style entertainment, and even some villainously fun adults-only spaces, the Disney Destiny is shaping up to be an unforgettable addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Here’s everything we know so far.

A Heroic Theme

The Disney Destiny is being built around the timeless stories of good versus evil. From its Grand Hall to dining and entertainment venues, the ship is infused with inspiration from some of Disney’s most iconic heroes and villains. Characters such as Hercules, Maleficent, and Cruella de Vil will be celebrated throughout the ship, creating an atmosphere where every guest can step into a story of adventure, courage, and a little mischief.

At the heart of the ship will be the Grand Hall, a stunning space that introduces guests to the ship’s story the moment they step aboard. With bold, dramatic design elements, the hall captures both the heroic and villainous spirit of the Destiny.

Dining Experiences

Disney has announced three incredible rotational dining restaurants, each offering a completely unique experience:

  • Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King
Step into the circle of life with a first-of-its-kind musical dining adventure. While enjoying a menu inspired by the African savanna, guests will watch Simba’s story come to life through live music, powerful vocals, and immersive storytelling.

  • Worlds of Marvel
Baby Groot takes the stage in this lively, musical dining experience, accompanied by Rocket Raccoon and the iconic Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix soundtracks. Add in an intergalactic menu, and it’s truly a meal fit for a hero.

  • 1923
This elegant restaurant celebrates the heroes and villains of Disney animation with sketches, storyboards, and props from beloved films. Guests will enjoy sophisticated California cuisine in a glamorous Hollywood-inspired setting.

For dessert lovers, Edna À La Mode Sweets is not to be missed. The Incredibles’ famed designer has transformed her lab into a dessert haven, serving fabulous, fashionable creations for guests with a sweet tooth.

  • Disney Seas the Adventure
A lively musical journey starring Goofy alongside beloved Disney and Pixar characters, this show highlights friendship, fun, and the spirit of discovery.

On deck, families will find water play areas, pools, and thrilling slides, and the ever-popular AquaMouse attraction! on the Disney Wish.

Guests can also expect kids’ clubs filled with interactive play spaces and themed activities. From Marvel training academies to Disney Imagineering labs, Disney Cruise Line sets the bar for children’s programming. Meanwhile, adults can enjoy serene lounges, spas, and nightclubs designed just for grown-ups—making sure everyone on board finds their perfect escape.

Adults-Only Fun

The Destiny doesn’t just cater to families—it also features some of the most immersive adult-exclusive venues in the fleet, many of them delightfully villain-themed.

  • De Vil’s
Inspired by Cruella herself, this chic lounge embraces bold style and dramatic flair. Guests can sip martinis or champagne while enjoying live piano music on a black-and-white-spotted piano.

  • Haunted Mansion Parlor
Step into a ghostly retreat where “spirits” really do materialize. This eerie, atmospheric lounge serves cocktails to die for, with spooky touches that fans of the classic attraction will love.

  • Pirates of the Caribbean Pub
A swashbuckling tavern complete with plundered treasures, rum bottles, and nods to the parks’ attraction. Perfect for catching a game or enjoying a barrel-aged brew.

  • The Sanctum
Inspired by Marvel’s Doctor Strange, this mystic venue serves spellbinding cocktails, spirits, and coffee in a space that transports guests into the world of the Sorcerer Supreme.

Add in an indulgent spa, adult-exclusive dining options, and quiet relaxation areas, and it’s clear that the Destiny is just as appealing to grown-ups as it is to kids.

Staterooms and Design

The staterooms on the Disney Destiny will likely follow the beautiful and practical designs of its sister ships. Expect elegant décor inspired by Disney storytelling, family-friendly layouts, and thoughtful touches like split bathrooms, ample storage, and magical artwork. Suites and concierge-level accommodations will also be available, offering guests even more luxury and exclusive amenities.
