  • Yes! We get paid through our suppliers so 99% of our planning services are completely free of charge to our clients. We promise there are no hidden fees. Any pricing from our suppliers is clearly communicated to you before booking so that you have the information needed to make an informed choice!

    On the rare occasion that a supplier doesn’t offer commission or a trip is non-commissionable for some other reason, we will let you know up front and agree upon a fee before moving forward. Charging a fee is always a last resort when all other avenues have been exhausted.

  • Nope! We don’t have any hidden fees or mark ups in our services. The price you are paying for your vacation is the same whether you book with us or on your own. The only difference is that when you book with us you get the added benefit of our expert advice and services.

  • We work with you every step of the way when planning your vacation. This includes our initial consultation where we discuss where you want to go and what you want to do; booking your resort, excursions, dining reservations and more; watching out for special offers to apply to your trip; offering suggestions and tips on your destination; creating itineraries and more!

  • Generally speaking if you’ve booked your trip within the last 30 days and it has not been paid in full, most suppliers will allow the option to transfer your booking to our agency so we can help you with everything moving forward. If that’s not an option, there are other paths we can take. Such as, canceling and rebooking or our Travel Agent Consultant Program. Talk to your agent to figure out the best option for you.

  • The short answer is, it depends but more often than not, we can’t. Even if a travel agent books your air, the airlines will only communicate with a passenger traveling on the reservation in the event that you want to make a change or cancel your flights. The majority of our suppliers no longer allow us to add airfare onto their vacation packages anymore, and the ones that do make it very complicated to make changes or modifications. While you never expect your travel plans to change or for a flight to get cancelled or delayed, it is always a possibility. We want to ensure our clients have the most streamlined process for making modifications to their trip in the event that something comes up and plans need to be modified.

    However, our team of travel experts is happy to help you weigh the pros and cons of different carriers, share insight about ideal flight times and best airports for layovers, as well as answer any other questions you may have about the process of booking airfare. But more often than not, you’ll need to book air directly with the airline on their consumer website separate from our services.

  • Many of our clients prefer to communicate via email with their agent but if you’d prefer to talk on the phone, video chat or text, our agents are more than happy to find a communication style that works for you.

    When you work with one of our agents, you’ve got someone in your corner for all questions big and small. While many of our agents do observe business hours, there are no restrictions on how many emails you can send or how many questions you can ask.

    When it comes to working with an agent it’s all about YOUR trip! Whether you’d like to be totally hands off or work alongside your agent to plan your dream vacation, it’s all up to you.

  • It depends. Whether a scheduling conflict, family emergency or other reason causes you to cancel your trip - the cancellation policy will vary from supplier to supplier. So your Disney cancellation policy may look different than your European FIT cancellation policy but one thing for sure is that People Mover Travel will NOT charge you a cancellation fee!

  • The earlier the better! We find that the earlier we start working together the smoother the process. This way we can help you find the best options for you from day one. If you have a general idea on what interests you about a destination, we can take that and start to build your perfect trip!

    But we love a spontaneous trip as much as the next globe-trotter. So don’t hesitate to reach out for those surprise last-minute trips as well!
