The Disney Wish, the first ship built in Disney Cruise Line’s new Triton Class, invites guests into a storybook world where classic Disney enchantment meets modern luxury at sea. Currently sailing 3- and 4-night itineraries to the Bahamas from DCL’s signature Port Canaveral, Florida terminal (and heading to Europe in summer 2027!), this stunning ship blends beloved Disney Cruise Line traditions with innovative, immersive experiences. From dazzling entertainment to next-level dining and immaculately designed spaces, the Disney Wish delivers magic around every corner. Let’s explore everything this ship has to offer, deck by deck!

Make a Splash on the Top Decks

The upper decks of the Disney Wish are packed with fun for all ages! Families can splash and play in various pools and themed water areas like the Toy Story Splash Zone, while thrill-seekers won’t want to miss the AquaMouse, Disney’s first attraction at sea, featuring original Mickey Mouse animated shorts created just for the ride. Adults can escape to the Quiet Cove pool area on deck 13 aft, offering a peaceful retreat just for guests 18 and older.

Guests of all ages looking to unwind poolside can enjoy plenty of lounger seating, complimentary towels, and both sunny and shaded areas to choose from. And of course, Funnel Vision midship brings Disney movies to life on the big screen throughout the day. When the sun goes down, these decks transform into lively celebration spaces, complete with deck parties, character appearances, music, and even fireworks at sea on most sailings!

Convenient, Casual Dining Throughout the Day

When hunger strikes, the Disney Wish makes it easy to grab something quick and delicious both up on the top decks and around the ship. Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods offers a variety of quick service, poolside options like barbecue, pizza, salads, sandwiches, and more, perfect for families on the go. Marceline Market, located on deck 11 aft, serves as the ship’s main buffet-style restaurant for breakfast and lunch, offering everything from comfort food favorites to more globally inspired dishes. Also located just steps away from the pools, this is a great option for anyone who wants to step inside for a bite without having to go far from the fun.

Guests can also enjoy complimentary beverage stations with soda, coffee, and water situated across deck 11, and room service is also included in your cruise fare, ideal for late-night snacks or a relaxing meal in your stateroom. Specialty treats, coffee, and dessert shops, like the whimsical Inside Out: Joyful Sweets and quaint Wishing Star Café, are available to enjoy at an additional cost for those looking to indulge a little extra.

Immersive Dinner Experiences That Bring Stories to Life

Rotational dining is a signature part of the Disney Cruise Line experience, and the Disney Wish brings it to life in new ways never seen before in the fleet. Guests rotate through three uniquely themed restaurants with the same serving team following them each night for personalized service within each unique restaurant atmosphere.

1923, located on deck 3 midship right off the Grand Hall, celebrates the legacy of Walt Disney Animation with elegant décor and a California-inspired menu. There are two distinct sides of the restaurant, one in honor of Walt Disney and the other for his brother and business partner Roy, so there’s plenty to look at and enjoy during your meal!

Worlds of Marvel up on deck 4 offers an interactive dining experience featuring beloved Marvel superheroes like Ant Man, Captain America, Spiderman, and the Wasp, blending storytelling with innovative technology right at your table. Not only do you get to enjoy a world-class meal at sea, but you also get to help some of the Avengers save the day!

And finally, Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure on deck 5 is a standout experience exclusive to the Disney Wish, where guests get to join Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf for a theatrical dinner celebration filled with music, storytelling, and Nordic-inspired cuisine. The restaurant itself is situated like a theater-in-the-round with the entertainment in the center of the room, so everyone can enjoy the sights and sounds of the show!

Spaces Just for Adults to Enjoy

Adults sailing on the Disney Wish will find plenty of opportunities to relax, unwind, and indulge onboard. Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté offer upscale dining experiences (per available reservations, at an additional cost), featuring Italian-inspired and French cuisine respectively, along with stunning ocean views. Additionally, The Rose lounge is right nearby both for a pre- or post-meal cocktail and sophisticated ambience perfect for a date night at sea.

The Wish also boasts a variety of uniquely themed lounges and bars on her other decks. Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge celebrates the fan-favorite characters and planets found in the Star Wars galaxy with themed drinks and décor, and becomes an adults-only lounge in the evenings (after open time for families during the day). There’s also Nightingale’s and The Bayou, spaces that tribute Cinderella and Princess and the Frog, respectively, through more intimate environments with drinks, lite bites, and live music.

The Senses Spa & Salon on deck 5 forward offers a tranquil escape for grownups, complete with spa treatment rooms, full salon amenities, the Rainforest Room, and a fitness center. Guests can also visit Untangled Salon or Hook’s Barbery for additional grooming services right on the same deck, which are open to all ages.

Fun-Filled Spaces for Kids & Teens

Kids have entire worlds to explore aboard the Disney Wish! The Oceaneer Club on deck 2 features immersive spaces themed to Star Wars, Marvel, Disney Princesses, and more, including hands-on experiences in the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab. They can even enter the club via slide from deck 3 midship up above, right in the Grand Hall!

Young cruisers ages 6 months to 3 years can spend time in the “it’s a small world” Nursery (available for an hourly fee) also on deck 2, complete with cribs, rocking chairs, small toys, light snacks, and more, decorated with gorgeous Mary Blair-inspired artwork like the iconic attraction. While tweens and teens have their own dedicated spaces at Edge and Vibe, both on deck 5, featuring video games, hosted activities, and themes perfect for older kids and young adults.

For high-energy fun for kids of all ages, the Hero Zone on deck 12 aft offers an indoor sports arena with basketball, interactive games, an inflatable obstacle course, and more, making it a hit with older kids and families alike. Plus, this is the spot onboard the Disney Wish to watch the fan-favorite Jack-Jack’s Incredible Diaper Dash, where crawling babies get to race for top honors!

Comfortable Staterooms Designed with Families in Mind

The Disney Wish continues Disney Cruise Line’s tradition of family-friendly, thoughtfully designed staterooms featuring industry-first and award-winning amenities. Most rooms feature the Disney signature split bathroom concept, making it easier for families to get ready together without being on top of one another. Guests will also find plenty of storage, elevated beds to stow luggage underneath, and flexible sleeping arrangements including convertible sofas, pull-down beds, and more, all perfect for families and larger groups.

Stateroom categories on the Disney Wish include:

· Inside

· Oceanview

· Verandah

· Concierge

The Wish also offers luxurious Royal Suites themed to the animated classic Sleeping Beauty, and the stunning Wish Tower Suite themed to the newer feature film Moana for those seeking a truly elevated experience. All staterooms are otherwise beautifully themed with Disney princess stories centered around enchantment, featuring characters from Cinderella, Frozen, The Princess and the Frog, and The Little Mermaid. Tangled-themed Concierge-level accommodations add extra perks like a private lounge, sun deck, and pool onboard, as well as priority boarding and entertainment seating.

Guest staterooms on the Disney Wish can be found across decks 2 through 11, with decks 6–10 primarily dedicated to staterooms.

World-Class Entertainment You Won’t Want to Miss

Entertainment aboard the Disney Wish is nothing short of spectacular! The Walt Disney Theatre spans decks 2, 3, and 4 onboard and hosts Broadway-style productions, including:

· Disney Seas the Adventure

· Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular

· Disney The Little Mermaid (exclusive to the Disney Wish!)

With two showtimes nightly (coordinated to the rotational dining seating times), guests can easily fit performances into their evening schedule. There’s also the Wonderland Cinema and Neverland Cinema nearby on deck 4 that runs both classic and new Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars movies throughout sailings. You can even catch a “premier at sea” for films that move to theaters while onboard!

But the ship also comes alive with live music, character meet-and-greets, and pop-up entertainment in the Grand Hall, a breathtaking central space that serves as the heart of the ship that spans decks 3, 4, and 5. The schedule for all these offerings can be found in the Disney Cruise Line mobile app once you set sail, but you might spot some familiar character faces when you first board the ship into the Grand Hall (no reservations required!).

The Disney Wish blends timeless Disney storytelling with innovative experiences in a way that feels both nostalgic and brand new. Whether you’re sailing for the first time or returning for another voyage as a tenured Castaway Club member, this ship offers something for everyone. If you’re looking for a shorter cruise packed with magic, the Disney Wish delivers in every possible way. Get ready to set sail on a vacation where every detail feels like a wish come true!

Pro Tips to Make the Most of Your Voyage

Besides working with the trusted agents at People Mover Travel to plan your next Disney Cruise Line adventure, there are a few things to be mindful of if you’re planning to sail aboard the Disney Destiny:

1. Download the Disney Cruise Line app and link your vacation reservation prior to sailing – This is critical for managing your cruise activities, booking Port Adventures (excursions), and keeping track of otherwise important details. Plus, you take advantage of a fun, Disney-themed countdown as you prepare to set sail!

2. Prioritize bookable activities and Port Adventures for when your window opens – Disney Cruise Line opens activity and Port Adventure (shore excursion) bookings by Castaway Club status prior to sailing. Be sure to note when you’ll be able to make selections so you have the best chances of getting to enjoy everything on your list. You will NOT be charged for anything until you experience the activity or excursion, but note that your cruise vacation must be paid in full before you can book anything (even if your window opens prior to your balance due date).

3. Complete your online check-in as early as possible – Similarly, Disney Cruise Line opens online check-in prior to sailing based on Castaway Club status to manage the digital flow of information and assign port arrival times + boarding group numbers. Checking in as early as you’re able allows you to select earlier port arrival times and get your documents in order ahead of time, which makes embarkation day much easier. The earlier your port arrival time and lower your boarding group number, the sooner you can get on the ship and start having fun!

4. Purchase Disney Band+ for use onboard – Want to stay hands-free during your cruise? Consider purchasing a Disney Band+ for your sailing! It can be used to open your stateroom, charge for merchandise purchases or drink orders, and even unlock extra magical touches around the ship during shows and other experiences. You’ll still receive a Key To The World card for everyone once onboard, but using a Disney Band+ is an opportunity for some extra magic!

5. Consider a starboard-facing room to enjoy fireworks at sea from your stateroom – Consider booking a stateroom situated on the starboard side of the ship if you’d rather enjoy fireworks at sea from the comfort of your own verandah or porthole view. We always recommend this for clients traveling with young children who can’t quite stay up that late, have sensitivities to loud noises, etc. Plus, a starboard-facing room also gives you a stunning view of Castaway Cay for itineraries that stop there.

6. Include Travel Protection in your vacation package – Adding travel insurance to any vacation is something we stand by, and it’s especially important to consider if you’re going on a Disney Cruise. Things can happen, and Disney’s Travel Protection Plan offers comprehensive coverage if you run into issues like trip delays, lost luggage, or the need to cancel last-minute. Discuss your options with your travel agent!

7. Always arrive at your embarkation port a minimum of one day before sailing – Don’t push it when it comes to getting to your embarkation port on time. The Disney Destiny primarily sails out of Port Everglades (For Lauderdale), and you should plan to arrive in town at least one day before you’re scheduled to set sail. This ensures that even if you run into flight or driving delays, you won’t miss the boat! Consider staying near the port at a Disney Cruise Line preferred hotel or even enjoying the Florida beaches for a few days before embarkation day.

8. Decorate your stateroom door & join in some fun with your fellow cruisers – Show off your family’s personality with some magnetic door decorations! Not only is this a fun activity, but it makes for a great way to easily find your stateroom amongst the others in long corridors. You can also connect with other guests on your cruise prior to sailing by joining related Facebook and other social media groups to participate in gift exchanges and other activities (like sharing door magnets!). While none of this is required, these opportunities allow for additional ways to create your own magic and share it with others!

9. Don’t skip the muster drill – A must-do on day one of your cruise will be the mandatory safety drill, or muster drill. You’ll hear repeated announcements onboard about it, as well as receive notifications about it in the Disney Cruise Line app, and for good reason. This is an exercise that all guests must take part in before the ship can sail, and it allows you to visit your assembly station in the unlikely event of an emergency. It only takes a few minutes, and Cast Members will be looking for you to ensure you participate and check in with them to confirm.

10. Arrive early to shows in the Walt Disney Theater and parties up on deck – The Broadway-style shows aboard the Disney Destiny WILL be popular and the theater WILL fill up prior to showtime. Whether you’re going to the early or late show (depending on your rotational dining time), we recommend arriving at the theater at least 30 minutes beforehand to get a spot in line and enter as soon as the doors open. Same idea for parties up on deck; plan to look for spots for the Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party and sail away party early to ensure you have a good view of the main stage and/or fireworks. As mentioned, fireworks are shot off from the starboard side of the ship, so take that into consideration when choosing your spot and look around for any view obstructions (looking at you, AquaMouse).

11. Consider making a placeholder reservation for your next cruise while onboard – Disney Cruise Line routinely offers a sweet deal to save money on a future cruise called their ‘Onboard Booking Offer.’ While still onboard your cruise, you can put down a flat $250/stateroom deposit to use towards another cruise within the following 24 months. You don’t even have to know exactly when you want to sail again yet! Additionally, the promo typically gets you 10% off your prevailing cruise fare once you pick a sailing, as well as a reduced deposit. While there are blackout dates and some stateroom restrictions, this is one the best ways to save money on a Disney Cruise Line vacation!
